Job Description

Financial Operations & Reporting:

• End-to-end accounting, preparation of MIS and financial statements
• Business finance: forecasting, budget planning, variance analysis, cost saving initiatives & qualitative data analytics
• Support in tracking revenue-related metrics and data analysis

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:

• TDS, income tax, and all direct tax-related compliances
• GST filings, reconciliations & decision-making support on GST-related matters
• Ensure compliance under Companies Act, SEBI Act, FEMA and other applicable regulations

People & Payment Management:

• Manage compliance related to PF, PT, ESIC, Gratuity & other employee-related laws
• Handle and monitor payments, vendor negotiations & approvals

ESOPs & Legal:

• Manage ESOP framework: policy adoption, issuance & related filings
• Work with Company Secretary and oversee statutory filings & secretarial work
• Lead and assist in all legal matters related to fundraising, investor agreements & other contractual agreements
• Take ownership of financial & legal due diligence during fundraising

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

• Act as a key financial advisor to founders and leadership team
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and business teams
• Manage relationships with auditors, investors, banks, and external consultants

What We’re Looking For:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory
• 2–5 years of experience in a CA firm / startup / high-growth environment
• Strong understanding of Indian taxation, compliance, and financial reporting
• High ownership mindset with ability to work in ambiguity
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
