Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Debt Financing Leader to drive the company’s capital strategy through debt fundraising, lender relationships, and structured finance solutions. This role will lead end-to-end debt transactions, optimize capital structure, and ensure efficient funding to support business growth and expansion.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Debt Capital Strategy & Fundraising :

• Lead end-to-end debt fundraising across banks, NBFCs, structured credit funds, and institutional lenders
• Define and execute debt capital strategy aligned with business growth and working capital needs
• Structure financing solutions including term loans, working capital facilities, project finance, and structured debt
• Optimize cost of capital and maintain an efficient capital structure

2. Lender Relations & Stakeholder Management :

• Build and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, and credit funds
• Act as primary interface for lender communications and negotiations
• Manage credit ratings, covenant discussions, and compliance requirements

3. Deal Execution (Debt & Structured Finance) :

• Drive end-to-end debt deal lifecycle: sourcing, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, documentation, and closure
• Lead refinancing, restructuring, and liability management exercises
• Support structured finance initiatives and project funding requirements

4. Strategic Finance & Business Planning :

• Partner with CEO/CFO on capital planning, cash flow management, and funding strategy
• Develop financial models for borrowing decisions and scenario analysis
• Align financing strategy with business expansion and operational requirements

5. Market Intelligence & Risk Management :

• Track interest rate trends, credit markets, and financing landscape
• Assess risks related to leverage, liquidity, and refinancing

• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies

   

Candidate Requirements :

• CA / MBA + B.Tech from Tier-1 institutions
• 10–14+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or structured finance (debt-focused)
• Strong track record in debt fundraising, structured finance, and lender negotiations
• Strong network across banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
• Experience in technology / EV / automotive sectors preferred
• Strong skills in financial modelling, credit analysis, and debt structuring
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
