Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a sharp, dynamic, and experienced SAP ECC FICO Consultant with 10–12 years of hands-on expertise in configuring and maintaining SAP ECC FICO modules. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of AP, AR, and R2R processes, along with expertise in financial and controlling reports aligned with Indian reporting standards and the ability to configure them in SAP. Experience in SAP ECC or SAP HANA implementation and migration projects will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Configuration & Maintenance

• Configure and maintain SAP ECC FICO modules:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Controlling (CO)
• Assess existing SAP configurations and identify errors/issues impacting financials
• Screen processing steps and identify validations to ensure accurate transaction processing

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Design, develop, and implement financial reports for Indian statutory and regulatory requirements:
  • Accounts closure
  • Statutory audit
  • Income tax assessment closure
  • Banking compliance reporting
  • Management reporting

Cross-functional Collaboration & Audit

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration with other SAP modules
• Work with Internal Audit team to identify gaps/risks and ensure closure

Financial Expertise

• Provide expertise in:
  • Financial reporting
  • Cost centre accounting
  • Profit centre accounting
  • Internal orders

Change Management & Risk Analysis

• Evaluate change requests across modules
• Conduct risk and impact analysis
• Authorize developments with SAP Support Partner

Implementation & Testing

• Manage end-to-end implementation and migration projects
• Handle future transition planning for SAP ECC
• Perform:
  • System testing
  • Data validation
  • User acceptance testing

Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide training and support to end-users
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO technical issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• MBA, M.com, CMA
• SAP FICO Certification (Mandatory)

Experience

• 10–12 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant
• Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation or migration
• Experience in major optimization projects on ECC

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO configuration and customization
• Strong understanding of Indian financial reporting standards and tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.)
• Proficiency in data migration tools and methodologies
• Understanding of key financial reports:
  • Trial Balance
  • Profit & Loss (P&L)
  • Balance Sheet
  • GST reports
  • Statutory audit reports

• Project management skills and certifications (desired)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
