Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

1. Financial Modeling & Valuation

• Develop complex financial models for investment projects, mergers, acquisitions, and structured transactions.
• Conduct valuation analyses using appropriate methodologies (DCF, comparable analysis, precedent transactions, etc.).
• Support business case preparation and investment proposals with accurate financial analysis.
• Assist senior leadership in structuring complex transactions.

2. Financial Analysis & Forecasting

• Analyze financial statements and assess company performance.
• Prepare detailed financial forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Perform sensitivity and risk analysis to aid investment decision-making.

3. Strategic & Industry Research

• Conduct industry research and benchmarking studies.
• Analyze competitive dynamics and market trends.
• Provide insights to support investment theses and strategy formulation.

4. Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Liaise with CXOs for data gathering and valuation discussions.
• Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Present analytical findings in a clear and structured manner.

5. Compliance & Best Practices

• Stay updated on industry best practices in financial modeling and valuation.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Candidate Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in:
  • Investment Banking
  • Private Equity
• Experience in deal execution and transaction structuring is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in:
  • Financial Modeling
  • Valuation Techniques
  • Investment Analysis
• Advanced knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.)

Core Competencies

• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA (Finance)
• CFA
• Exposure to transaction structuring and deal execution.
