Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Associate Director – Finance & Accounts to strengthen our growing finance function. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will manage end-to-end financial operations including accounting, compliance, taxation, audits, and internal controls. This is a high-impact role critical to ensuring accuracy, governance, and scalability in a fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Month-End & Year-End Closures

Manage timely and accurate monthly and annual book closures in coordination with the Head of Finance.

• Accounting & Taxation

Handle accounting, direct & indirect taxation, reconciliations, and audit support.

• Compliance & Controls

Ensure adherence to statutory, legal, and internal compliance requirements. Strengthen governance through internal controls and SOPs.

• Financial Reporting

Prepare statutory financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and generate MIS reports and dashboards.

• Audit Coordination

Liaise with statutory and internal auditors to ensure smooth audit execution.

• Operational Finance

Oversee AP/AR, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and statutory payouts (TDS, etc.).

• Trackers & Analysis

Maintain trackers for budgets, expenses, benefits, and key financial KPIs.

• Stakeholder Support

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Risk & Continuity

Support risk assessments, business continuity planning, and process improvements.
 

What we’re looking for :

• Chartered Accountant with 6–8 years of post-qualification experience

• Strong hands-on exposure to accounting, taxation, audits, and compliance

• Experience in high-growth/startup environments preferred

• Strong understanding of Indian GAAP & statutory regulations

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
