Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Accounting & Reporting :

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across head office and regions
  • Ensure efficient accounts payable processes
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements timely
  • Standardize reporting formats and ensure real-time MIS for management and stakeholders
  • Monitor franchisee-level financial reporting to ensure process adherence
  • Design and implement efficient payment processes, bank reconciliations, and cash management

Audit & Compliance :

  • Drive statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits with accuracy and timely closure
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and resolve audit queries
  • Implement strong internal controls to safeguard revenue and prevent financial leakages

GST & Taxation :

  • Ensure accurate filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns for all business locations
  • Handle reconciliations, GST input credits, and compliance with indirect tax regulations
  • Support finalization of income tax, TDS, and other regulatory requirements

Regional Finance Oversight :

  • Supervise regional finance teams to secure uniform accounting standards across zones

Process Improvement :

  • Implement financial control systems and process automation to enhance transparency
  • Recommend improvements in reporting accuracy and turnaround time
  • Enforce compliance-driven discipline across corporate and franchisee operations

Candidate Requirements :

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Inter CA with requisite experience / MBA (Finance) preferred
  • 10–12 years of experience in core finance roles with exposure to accounting, audit, GST, and compliance in logistics, supply chain, FMCG, or multi-location businesses
  • Experience with regional finance structures and services companies
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, and automation tools
  • Strong leadership skills to manage central and regional teams
  • High integrity, detail-oriented, with strong knowledge of statutory frameworks.
