Job Description

Role Overview 
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end implementation of ERP across our organization. The candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating ERP implementation activities, ensuring alignment across multiple business functions (P2P, O2C, R2R, and Hire-to-Retire), and driving project success through structured project management practices. This role requires strong cross-functional understanding, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead project execution with attention to detail and ownership of deliverables. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as project manager for ERP implementation, ensuring timely execution across all phases (planning, design, build, testing, deployment, post-go-live support)
  • Collaborate with business function owners and external consultants (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, Operations) to gather requirements, validate workflows, and align systems with organizational needs
  • Coordinate BRD development with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Manage collaboration with external implementation partners, consultants, and vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Drive project governance, including project planning, status tracking, stakeholder meetings, risk/issue management, and escalation handling
  • Serve as primary liaison between internal teams and external consultants to ensure smooth communication and resolution of dependencies
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinate training sessions, and drive adoption across functions
  • Monitor and manage project budget, resources, and timeline, ensuring on-scope successful delivery
  • Champion process improvements and embed best practices within ERP workflows
  • Provide post-implementation support for stabilization and continuous improvement of ERP usage

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: MBA in Operations, IT, or related specialization
  • Certifications: PMP preferred
  • Experience: 5–7 years in ERP project management with at least 1 full-cycle implementation exposure
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of P2P, O2C, R2R, and Hire-to-Retire processes
  • Skills:
    • Ability to manage complex projects, drive stakeholder alignment, resolve conflicts
    • Hands-on experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, or similar)
    • Knowledge of ERP project methodologies
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple teams
  • Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Open Source ERP) is an advantage
