Job Description

Role Overview:
We are looking for a professional with strong experience in Indirect Tax litigation along with exposure to GST compliance review. The role will primarily involve handling tax disputes, responding to notices, and representing the organization in indirect tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle indirect tax litigation matters, including drafting replies to notices, appeals, and submissions before tax authorities.
• Manage GST-related assessments, departmental audits, and investigations.
• Liaise with tax authorities, legal counsels, and consultants for litigation matters.
• Track and manage ongoing cases, hearings, and documentation related to indirect tax disputes.
• Review GST returns and indirect tax compliance to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on indirect tax litigation risks and regulatory updates.
• Stay updated with changes in GST laws, notifications, and judicial precedents.

Key Requirements:

• CA / LLB qualification.
• 5–7 years of experience in Indirect Tax, with strong exposure to litigation and dispute management.
• Experience in handling notices, assessments, and appeals under GST and other indirect tax laws.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
