This seed funded clean tech startup specializes in creating eco-friendly, sustainable packaging solutions. The Company, which has been in existence since last 4 years, aims to combat environmental pollution by creating biodegradable state of the art packaging material from crop waste. Primarily serving the B2B segment, the startup has ambitious plans to triple its revenue in the coming year and expand its product offerings. With a manufacturing facility located in Faridabad and backed by institutional investors, the company has successfully raised approximately $3.45 million to date and employs around 75 staff members.

Job Description

• Oversee the financial planning process, ensuring it aligns with strategic goals while directing the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgeted figures, identifying discrepancies and their underlying causes.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive MIS reports to provide management with critical insights and performance metrics. Ensure that data is accurately analysed and presented to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
• Lead the Finance function to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, implementation of strong internal controls.
• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management
• Direct the costing function to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of costs.
• Develop comprehensive financial models to support fundraising efforts, including valuation projections, and cash flow forecasts
• Manage investor relations to foster strong relationships with stakeholders, providing timely and transparent communication regarding company performance and strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process. Also oversee and ensure adherence to all statutory compliance requirements.
