Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Industrial HR Manager to manage the full spectrum of human resources activities within an industrial environment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing payroll processes, handling Provident Fund (PF), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and other statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Labor Law Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, including the Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, and Minimum Wages Act.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor regulations and implement policies in line with legal standards.
    • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and employee disputes in compliance with labor laws.
  2. Payroll Management:

    • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate salary disbursement for all employees.
    • Manage deductions such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and Professional Tax (PT).
    • Address payroll discrepancies and queries from employees.
  3. Provident Fund (PF) & Employee State Insurance (ESI):

    • Administer PF, ESI, and other statutory contributions and filings.
    • Ensure timely submission of all PF and ESI returns and challans.
    • Handle employee queries regarding PF/ESI withdrawals, loans, and transfers.
  4. Tax Deducted at Source (TDS):

    • Calculate and deduct TDS on employee salaries in compliance with tax laws.
    • Ensure timely payment of TDS to the government and filing of TDS returns.
    • Manage Form 16 issuance and assist employees with income tax queries.
  5. Statutory Compliance:

    • Handle all statutory obligations, including maintaining necessary records and filing returns with authorities.
    • Ensure adherence to regulations such as gratuity, maternity benefits, and bonus payments.
    • Coordinate with external agencies for inspections and audits as required.
  6. Employee Relations:

    • Support employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive work culture.
    • Manage attendance, leave records, and ensure smooth onboarding and exit formalities.
    • Provide support in recruitment, training, and development programs as needed.
  7. HR Policy Development:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with legal and organizational requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws.

  • MBA/ PGDM (Master of Business Administration)
