Job Description

i. Data Entry: Accurately record financial transactions in the accounting system, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and correctly categorized.

ii. Ledger Maintenance: Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling entries, tracking expenses, and managing accounts payable and receivable.

iii. Documentation: Organize and maintain financial documentation, including invoices, receipts, and payment records, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping standards.

iv. Monthly Reports: Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, providing insights into the company’s financial status.

v. Variance Analysis: Assist in analysing financial discrepancies and variances from budgets, providing explanations and supporting corrective actions.

vi. Regulatory Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of statutory financial reports, including GST returns, TDS filings, and other regulatory requirements.

vii. Invoicing: Generate and process invoices, ensuring timely billing to customers and prompt payment to suppliers.

viii. Collections: Monitor accounts receivable, following up on overdue invoices, and coordinating with customers to resolve payment issues.

ix. Payment Processing: Manage accounts payable, processing vendor payments, and ensuring all bills are paid on time to maintain good relationships with suppliers.

x. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
