Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To mitigate foreign currency risk, the individual is expected to develop hedging strategies that deliver margin protection and minimize exposures related to currencies and other related matters.
• Be the focal point with banks in terms of understanding hedging strategies to be deployed and jointly manage its execution with the Head of Treasury.
• Draft policies, model impacts of hedges and keep abreast of all developments in markets.
• Prepare reports and presentations as and when required.
• treasury accounting experience
• Have a more broader treasury experience to look at other aspects such as cash flow management, treasury tools and other projects related to an inhouse treasury function.
• Understand and recommend options for trapped cash, currencies in volatile markets and other related currency matters.
• Interest swaps, derivatives working knowledge.

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum 4-5years prior experience in handling hedging profile for MNC's
• Excel and ppt skills
• Good communicator
• Modelling in excel and understanding of hedging and working knowledge is a must..
• Ability to understand market data and complex trends.
