Job Description

  • Develop hybrid product and credit policies to facilitate the launch of Personal Loan programs with various partners, including Fintech LSPs and NBFCs.
  • Support the digitalization of the loan journey, from login to disbursement. This includes implementing timely system changes and conducting thorough UAT  for new product and policy integrations.
  • Manage pre- and post-partnership onboarding, ensuring a flawlessly functioning Business Rules Engine (BRE) through rigorous testing
  • Amendment, Review and Renewal of existing Credit Policies and Processes by conducting competitor benchmarking and studying ongoing market trends
  • Continuously monitor credit decision data for primary partnerships, including reviewing limit notes, risk notes, and CC approval conditions. Track credit decision volume and conduct daily sampling of sanctioned/disbursed customers. Provide feedback to Origination, Tech & product teams based on the data analysis.
  • Visiting partners and working with their senior management and other stakeholders to identify potential risk areas. These risks may be in corporate governance, quality of field operations, human resources, MIS, underwriting, security creation, credit operations, collections, monitoring and control systems or financial health of the entity. In case of risks identified, make recommendations on possible measures to mitigate / avoid such risks through process changes etc. and monitor progress.
  • Adding to the body of understanding of asset classes in which the NBFC is working with a focus on Various Product CF, SBL, TWE & MFI, by participating in due diligences with origination team, participating in credit committee meetings, research or any secondary study.
  • Monitoring sector level risks in consumer finance and recommending necessary course of action at an entity, geography and sector level as well as engaging with other stake holders such as the NBFC CFs, other investors, credit bureaus etc. to drive consensus around prudent business and risk management practices in the sector
  • Refining existing and developing new risk management models, frameworks and tools.
  • Engage closely with other teams in the risk function such as risk analytics and risk modelling to for macro issues relating to understanding of sector risk as well as micro issues relating to client reporting for structured finance transactions, overdue analysis etc. and analysis of data repositories such as transaction data and credit bureau data.
