Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Chartered Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in handling taxation, statutory compliances, and audits. The role requires a strong understanding of the Companies Act, Direct and indirect taxation, internal and external audits, and other related financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Taxation:

- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

- Handle tax assessments and resolve tax-related issues.

- Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and advise management accordingly.

2. Statutory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with the direct & indirect taxes and other statutory requirements.

- Responsible to submit statutory returns and filings accurately and timely.

- Maintain statutory records and ensure proper documentation. 

3. Audits:

- Coordinate tax and statutory internal audits

- Ability to review current financial and operational processes and recommend for improvements.

4. Financial Reporting:

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

5. Other Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

- Qualified Chartered Accountant.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and statutory compliance.

- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
