Job Description

Head Finance & Controlling : 

• Manage all accounting operations for the JV (5 entities/factories) including The Shared Service Centre - A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance, if any
• Month-end and year-end close process with Plant Finance Teams
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Co-ordinate and Manage internal audits and implement adequate internal control.
• Ensure clean closure of statutory audit for the Joint Venture at standalone level for 5 entities and consolidation for additional 2 JV entities
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budgets
• Additional controller duties as necessary

Ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Inter CA/ MBa, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience as Finance Controller , preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of AR/AP/GL accounting, regulations, and principles. Experience with  shared services is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex tax issues and provide practical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
• Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing fnance team.
• Reporting to CFO.
