Job Description

           Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the project finance sector.
  • Understand client needs, objectives, and project requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing financial and strategic guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle

           Financial Analysis and Due Diligence:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of project proposals, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Perform due diligence on project feasibility, market conditions, and industry trends.
  • Evaluate project risks and recommend appropriate financing structures and risk mitigation strategies.

           Structuring and Negotiation:

  • Structure appropriate financing solutions based on project requirements, risk profile, and regulatory considerations.
  • Prepare detailed financing proposals, including term sheets, financial covenants, and repayment schedules.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring alignment with the organization's risk appetite and profitability targets.

           Credit Assessment and Risk Management:

  • Assess the creditworthiness of borrowers and project sponsors.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis, including financial statement analysis, cash flow projections, and collateral valuation.
  • Identify and mitigate project and credit risks through appropriate risk mitigation measures, such as guarantees, security arrangements, and risk sharing arrangements.

           Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including credit, legal, and compliance teams, to ensure smooth deal execution and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on deal progress and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as project consultants, legal advisors, and government agencies, to facilitate smooth project execution.

           Portfolio Management and Monitoring:

  • Monitor the performance of project finance portfolio, including financial and operational performance of projects.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews, identify early warning signs, and take appropriate measures to mitigate potential risks.
  • Prepare and present portfolio performance reports to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
