Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: 

1. Supervision of Accounts Payable :

Review of overall AP activities including checking PO processing, attending vendor payment related queries or payment related escalations,  vendor balance reconciliation. Improve efficiency and accuracy of accounts payable function by streamlining and automating processes.

2. Day to Day Accounting Operations :

Oversee general ledger accounting, recording accrual entries, creating provisions such as provision for doubtful debts, provision for gratuity etc, Ensure Bank Reconciliations, timely issuance of bank guarantees etc

3. Month End Close :

Deliver month end financial close process including timely posting of journal entries, account balance reconciliations, action plan to clear open items, review of Prepaid and other workings etc

4. Financial reporting :

Prepare IND AS/IFRS compliant standalone financial statement for the company along with notes, schedules and disclosures

5. Audit Co-ordination & assistance in tax returns

Compilation of  information for preparation of tax returns,  Support internal audits for resolution of issues and implementation of recommendations, Resolve any queries raised by tax auditors,

6. Internal Controls

Support the maintenance of robust internal controls including ongoing compliance with SOX and Internal Financial Control requirements, Maintain SOPs for various processes like record to report, purchase to pay, hire to retire etc.

Ideal Candidate : 

•  Chartered Accountant 
•  Sound knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and IND-AS) along with experience of managing audits of listed companies 
•  Experience in implementing internal financial (IFC) and SOX controls
•  Experience of working on an SAP system
•  Advanced reconciliation skills 
•  Knowledge of MS Excel 
•  Analytical and detail-oriented approach.
