Job Description

The position entails overseeing the strategic operations of the finance department to plan, formulate and execute long term organizational financial strategies in corporate finance with regards to Fund raising, Investor relations and Financial Planning & Analysis.

• Financial Strategy and Analysis: Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies, providing comprehensive analysis and insights to support business decision-making and long-term planning.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals and financial performance targets.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports and performance metrics to senior management, highlighting key financial trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Leading the fund-raising activities for the group and playing a pivotal role leading organizational strategies for raising capital.
• Implementing the financial strategies as discussed with the management and helping the companies to raise necessary funds as per long term and short-term requirements of all the group companies.
• Be responsible and actively involved with the team for turn-around / debt structuring exercise for the group.
• Build and develop a strong network of investors/Lenders in India and abroad for term lending, Structured transactions, working capital etc.
• Responsible to managing existing lenders/investor relationships and liasioning with them on regularly for operational performance reports, future business plans, OEM / industry developments and trends, new project initiative within the group and MIS reporting.
• Preparing business plans and financial models considering the current trend and orders in hand. Updating the business models on a regular basis in line with actual performance of the companies.
• Preparing Notes, Corporate presentations and information Memorandums for lenders/investors and keeping the same updated from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for formulating the fund-raising strategy in line with management expectations which is best suited for the company.
• Develop and maintain a wide network of investors, banks, Fls and investments banks.
• Responsible for interacting with various lenders and Fls to come up with Innovative ideas or fund raising.
• Constantly update business models, projections, Info Memo, and presentations of the companies with latest development and financials.
• Financial Strategy and Analysis- Budgeting and Forecasting, variance analysis, Performance Reporting, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Compliance and Risk Management.

Decision making skills required: -

• The position requires leadership qualities to identify potential investors and work closely with the management for the same.
• Dealing with lender/investor queries from time to time and discussing future and projections
• Identify potential lenders and make them meet the management with discretion.
