Job Description

Brief:

chief financial officer is part of the senior leadership team in an organization that’s responsible for an organization’s financial health and activities. A CFO implements policies and procedures to ensure the proper accounting, and strategic use, of an organization’s funds

Job Responsibility:

  • Handling day-to-day operation of the finance function to ensure proper accounting and finalization of company accounts promptly.
  • Manage the timely preparation and presentation of statutory books of accounts, financial statements, and annual reports, ensuring conformance to regulatory accounting standards.
  •  Innovation and automation in the system through IT intervention
  •  Develop business plans and strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation & realizing organizational goals.
  •  Responsible for planning, guidance, execution, and management of all accounting functions/ operations such as AR/ AP/ Cost & revenue accounting, period-end closure, inventory accounting, etc for the company.
  •  Assist the senior management in providing correct financial & operation information to assist them in better strategic and operation plans.
  • Regularly monitor and work closely with management in taking timely action to ensure that budgets and financial plans stay within approved levels.
  • Supply chain management.
  •  Supervise the General Ledger accounting work to ensure that all revenues and costs are correctly allocated and monitored.
  • Prepare and analyze MIS reports to provide feedback to the Management.
  • Analyze the company's expenses and identify areas where costs can be controlled.
  •  Month-end closing and reporting & variance analysis by business plan.
  •  Assess and evaluate the organization's financial performance about long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
  •  Conduct variance analysis to determine the difference between projected & actual results and implement corrective actions.
  •  Presenting monthly performance reviews for each business unit, indicating key business highlights and areas for improvement to senior management.
  • To ensure timely closure of the accounting process for reporting.
  •  Review and manage accounts payable and ensure all payments are as per process. Review and manage accounts receivable to ensure correct receivables & for better cash flow planning.
  •  Compliance with internal & statutory audits and smooth completion until their presentation; evaluate internal control systems periodically to improve the present controls to best practice level.
  •  Proper control over fixed assets and maintenance of the Fixed Assets Register (FAR).
  •  Looking after Income Tax, TDS, and GST compliances.
  •  Inventory Management- physical verification, adjustment & disposal. .
  •  Reviewing the Product-wise gross margin every month. Reviewing the Cost of Goods sold every month and identifying the variance for the same.
  •  Coordination with the other departments in the smooth operation of day-to-day business
