Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis related to costs and revenue, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making. Analyse and report company finances to management. Recommend strategic courses of action, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

2. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Keep track of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency, making data-driven recommendations for improvement. Maintain relevant metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements to drive financial success. Regularly publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly Management Information System (MIS) reports to senior management.

3. Cash Flow Management: Oversee collection, accounts receivable, and payable management to maintain healthy cash flow. Forecast monthly cash flow and identify potential cash flow challenges to implement proactive solutions.

4. Process Improvement & Compliance: Implement and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all financial processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Interface with internal and external auditors as a focal point for efficient management of Statutory, Tax & Internal Audits as a part of Corporate Governance.

5. Strategic Financial Planning: Strategically plan the yearly budget for sales, expenses, and tentative Profit & Loss (P&L). Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets aligned with company needs.

6. Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with the finance, logistics, and procurement teams to streamline financial processes and achieve operational excellence. Collaborate with department heads to understand their needs and goals

Note: Candidates with prior work experience in Startups will be preferred for this role.
