Job Description

  • Handle the booking of financial transactions in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable processes, including vendor invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation of vendor accounts, ensuring compliance with Indian accounting regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) tailored to the Indian regulatory environment, capturing and analyzing financial data to generate meaningful insights for management.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Indian statutory requirements.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of accounts, bank statements, and intercompany balances, investigating and resolving discrepancies in line with Indian accounting principles.
  • Stay updated on changes in Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and implementing necessary updates to accounting practices.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and controls within the accounting function, leveraging technology and best practices.

Ideal Candidate-

  • CA Inter qualification is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with expertise in Accounts Payable, Booking, MIS, and Reporting in the Indian context.
  • Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), taxation laws, and regulatory requirements applicable to financial reporting in India.
