Job Description

The Financial Accounting team publishes the Revenue Account, Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet of the Company on a monthly basis, submit the Accounts to the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis and provides appropriate information to management on a timely basis for facilitating decision making. The Accounts Payable team ensures that correct payments are made to all stakeholders - government / vendors / employees / shareholders on time Accounts holds the responsibility to maintain Fixed Asset Register and physical verification of fixed assets of the business.

Treasury, as a part of Accounts department, is responsible for efficient management of the funds, both collections of funds as well as payment to vendors across the country. Treasury also manages relationship with the bankers of the Company. Commission payment to our distributors is handled by the Commission team which is responsible for timely and accurate commission payments at fortnightly cycles and handling of commission queries

Job responsibilities include :

• The person will be responsible for preparation of financial statements. The person needs to be vigilant in exercising the duties and responsibilities.

• Preparation of Financial Statements as per the IRDAI including Revenue Account, Profit & Loss A/c, Balance Sheet, accurately and timely. Passing of monthly closing related entries in SAP

• Preparation of SEBI (LODR) Financial results (and related disclosures) on quarterly basis with accuracy. Implementation of latest SEBI circulars after careful study

• Analysis of movement in Financial items including premium, claims, income etc. and preparation of MIS and presentation on quarterly basis. Presentation of Financial presentations to the Management
