Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer:
a. Macro
• Act as one point of contact for all regional financial controllers regarding credit management in stations
• Ensure credit managers are meeting the deadlines and requirements set by the corporate credit control
• Assist/support regional financial controllers/financial managers in decision making regarding credit limits and terms if required
• Assist/support financial managers in understanding and applying company's policies and procedures
b. Micro
• Assisting financial managers and regional financial controllers in decision making and applying company's credit policies and procedures
• Coordinate with regional financial controllers to ensure all credit policies and procedures are in place
• Assisting global finance team in any enquiries regarding accounts receivables
• Leading any projects as initiated by the CFO and group financial controller
2. People
a. Macro
• Monitor, train & guide the corporate credit team
b. Micro
• Train new corporate, country & credit managers
• Facilitate the flow of information horizontally and vertically
3. Operations
a. Macro
• Maintain effective internal control on Company's ACP and bad debt
• Review and evaluate credit setup in each station
b. Micro
• Setting ACP annual targets for stations
• Paying scheduled visits to stations to ensure targets are being achieved
• Visit VIP customers in stations to resolve any pending matters and ensure no complications in accounts settlements
• Review and approve write off requests
• Conducting training on station level
4. Financial Results
a. Macro
• Collection of payments for sales / revenues
• Controlling ACP & Bad debts
b. Micro
• Set ACP & Provision targets for the stations
• Review and approve any write off request
