Job Description

1. Direct Taxation:
   • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Indian Direct Taxation.
   • Oversee and manage all aspects of direct tax compliance, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements.
   • Handle tax assessments, appeals, and litigation processes, including preparation for tax hearings.
2. Transfer Pricing:
   • Possess expertise in Transfer Pricing regulations and practices.
   • Manage and implement effective transfer pricing strategies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
   • Collaborate with in-house teams and external consultants to address transfer pricing issues.
3. International Taxation:
   • Experience in handling overseas taxation matters will be a distinct advantage.
   • Navigate and address tax implications in overseas geographies, coordinating with global tax teams and consultants.
4. Compliance Management:
   • Oversee compliance activities related to Direct Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Indirect Tax (IDT).
   • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all required tax documents.
5. Continuous Learning:
   • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, both in India and globally.
   • Implement best practices to optimize tax strategies for the organization.
6. Team Management:
   • Capable of leading and managing a team of 1-2 professionals, providing guidance and support.
   • Foster a collaborative and proactive team environment.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Engage effectively with consultants, in-house teams, and external stakeholders.
   • Communicate complex tax matters in a clear and concise manner.
