Job Description

Costing and Variance Analysis:

Ownership of explaining the cost of production, ensuring Propriety of expense, Statutory compliance 

Safeguarding assets of the company 

Instituting Internal control and Internal check systems, Audits, Document management, CAPEX management, Business performance management, Risk & Opportunity Management, Information management and Business Partnering 

Complete ownership of unit trial balance and off balance sheet items  

Physical checking of inventory 

STAT/TAX/Consolidation audits for units  

Ensure the unit team performs cut-off activities as per the closing calendar  

Structure cost review, reporting & provisioning  

Month end & ad hoc reporting to Planning & Control Team  

Compliance of all statutory & non statutory matters. 

Preparation of Unit budgets - Internal audits management 

Technical / Functional Skill Sets: 

SAP Experience 

Exceptional proficiency working with Excel, including working with pivot tables, and formulas. 

Proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Word, Access, Excel, and other Microsoft Office Applications to create documents and reports, etc. 

Strong knowledge and skills in performing financial analysis, as well as in solving problems. 

Should have had exposure where has handled mass transactions.

Exceptional multitasking skills, including the ability to manage several competing priorities at the same time.

Strong ability to communicate with staff, management, and the public, in writing and in verbal format. 

Energetic and self-motivated, and the ability to work independently yet achieve set goals and targets within deadlines. 

Team player with good communication and the ability to escalate appropriately. 

Strong understanding of controls required within an accounting organization. 

Process-driven with relationship-building skills, especially in a complex and multi-relationship environment (external and internal).
