Job Description

Job Summary:

The Corporate/Business Finance Head is responsible for leading and managing the financial operations of the company. This role involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and overseeing various finance-related functions to support the organization's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Create and manage the company's annual budget, including revenue projections, expense planning, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decisionmaking.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, the board of directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Capital Management: Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to optimize the cost of capital.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws. Work closely with external auditors and tax consultants.
  • Treasury Management: Oversee cash management, liquidity, and investment strategies to maximize returns while maintaining financial stability.
  • Financial Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a highperforming finance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including banks, investors, and financial institutions, to maintain strong relationships and secure necessary financing.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures from a financial perspective and participate in due diligence processes.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified CA with 8-10 yrs of experience
  • Proven experience in financial management and leadership roles, preferably in a corporate finance or business finance setting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence decisionmaking at the executive level.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
