Job Description

Job Summary:

A position is responsible for managing and ensuring the accurate and compliant financial reporting of the organization, with a focus on Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS). This role requires extensive expertise in Ind AS and the ability to provide guidance on complex accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ind AS Compliance: Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and related regulatory requirements, including the proper application of Ind AS in financial statements.
2. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Technical Accounting: Provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, consolidation, lease accounting, and impairment assessments, among others.
4. Ind AS Implementation: Lead the implementation of Ind AS standards and updates, assessing their impact on financial reporting and developing implementation strategies.
5. External Audits: Coordinate and manage the external audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely and accurate provision of audit documentation.
6. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to senior management.
7. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls related to financial reporting to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
8. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex accounting and financial reporting issues to senior management, board of directors, and external stakeholders as needed.
9. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of financial reporting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
10. Technical Updates: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements related to Ind AS and ensure timely compliance.

Qualifications:

• Qualified CA with 5-15 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting, with a strong focus on Ind AS.
• Candidates preferred from Big4s
• Strong technical accounting skills, with the ability to analyze complex accounting issues and provide solutions.
• Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
