Job Description

• Relevant experience in fixed asset accounting covering different geographies with good accounting & Communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of Schedule II of Companies Act, 2013
• Check for completeness and accuracy of fixed assets by timely capitalization and asset retirement.
• Month-end closing activities such as accounting, reconciliations, journal entries and adjustments. Performing monthly close R2R process activities including accruals and amortization.
• Variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and yearly P&L and BS movements
• Ensures the accurate tracking of existing fixed assets and implements and monitors the periodic physical verification review process.
• Capitalisation based on Work completion certificates
• Tracking of assets under progress till capitalisation
• Implementation of Fixed asset tool
• Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets
• Monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording & disposal of fixed assets and create new procedures, wherever required.
• Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets as per UGAAP & IGAAP and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
• Good Presentation skills / Preparing MIS and dashboard for Management presentation.
• Ensuring compliance to SOX/internal control/Statutory guidelines and data submission for tax audits
• Must carry SAP functional knowledge.
