We are seeking a seasoned Sales HR professional with a proven track record of managing the high-energy, high-pressure environment of a Sales organization. This role is a strategic blend of HR Operations, Performance Management, and Talent Development, specifically tailored for our Sales vertical.
The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between corporate HR and the sales force, ensuring that our people strategy aligns with our revenue targets.
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance & Incentive Management
Collaborate with Sales Leadership to define, track, and review sales targets and KPIs.
Design and administer Incentive Compensation Plans (ICPs); ensuring they are competitive, transparent, and drive the right behaviors.
Monitor sales productivity and provide data-driven insights to improve performance.
2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for the sales team, focusing on "feet-on-street" to mid-senior leadership roles.
Design specialized onboarding programs that reduce the "ramp-up" time for new sales hires.
3. Learning & Development (L&D)
Identify skill gaps within the sales force and implement training programs (Product Knowledge, Soft Skills, Negotiation, and CRM usage).
Foster a culture of continuous coaching and mentorship.
4. HR Operations & Administration
Manage the complete employee lifecycle: from contract issuance and payroll inputs to offboarding and full & final settlements.
Oversee administrative requirements specific to a mobile sales force (conveyance policies, travel desk coordination).
Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws and internal HR audits.
5. Employee Engagement & Relations
Act as the primary point of contact for sales employee grievances.
Develop engagement initiatives that maintain high morale during lean sales periods.
Required Candidate Profile
Industry Expertise: Direct experience in the Automobile or Manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
Sales HR Niche: Must have a minimum of 5 years specifically dedicated to Sales HR/HRBP roles.
Functional Skills: Strong command over Payroll processes, Recruitment, and HR Operations.
Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Local Candidate: Must be a current resident of Mumbai with a deep understanding of the local talent market.
