Job Description

Overview: 

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Executive with 2–4 years of experience to join our finance team. This role involves supporting end-to-end financial reporting, assisting in the consolidation of group entities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with solid grounding in financial accounting and reporting, and exposure to multi-entity environments. This role is best suited for someone looking to deepen their technical expertise while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment—ideally in fintech industry.

Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis-
o Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
o Support group consolidation activities for multiple subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
o Collaborate with subsidiary finance teams to gather data, validate reports, and ensure timely submission for consolidation.
o Help prepare management reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders with variance analysis and key financial metrics.
o Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations in compliance with Ind AS and company policies.
o Participate in the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions across entities.
o Review and maintain supporting documentation and working papers for financial reporting.
Audit and Compliance-
o Liaise with external auditors to support statutory audits, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and audit responses.
o Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and statutory requirements across the group.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement-
o Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
o Support automation initiatives, standardization of reports, and adoption of financial tools and ERP systems.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and accounting (preferably in a startup or fintech environment).
• Good understanding of Ind AS, finance statements and consolidation concepts.
• Experience working with multi entity or group structure (Preferred)
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of ERP systems like Tally, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented approach.
